Easy Killer Sudoku is the ideal place to learn the variant. Most cages here hold just one or two cells, with single-cell cages outright revealing a digit and two-cell cages narrowing the choices to a handful of pairs (a 3-sum can only be 1+2, a 4-sum is 1+3, a 5-sum is 1+4 or 2+3, and so on). The standard sudoku rules — one of each digit per row, column, and 3×3 box — still drive most placements, with cage sums acting as a gentler version of givens.
